Hildegard of Bingen - Mugwort, cut 50g

Hildegard von Bingen's cut mugwort is an aromatic spice with a pungent taste. It belongs to the wormwood family and consists of essential oils and bitter substances that give it its distinctive flavour. Ideal for seasoning meat and vegetables, it adds a special touch to any meal. According to Hildegard von Bingen, it also improves the digestibility of food, especially fatty components.

Application

For seasoning poultry, fish and meat dishes. According to Hildegard, mugwort should always be cooked with. However, outside of Hildegard's teachings, it can also be sprinkled on later, e.g. when seasoning salads.
